Each day she rode 5 miles on her bicycle &#8211;\r\n               in high heels and a lovely fashionable dress &#8211; to a local school, where she was a teacher.<\/p>\r\n            <p>She never complained, laughed out loud daily, and knew how to connect with people on a level that\u2019s beyond my imagination.<\/p>\r\n            <p>She died in her fifties after seventeen years of battling breast cancer.<\/p>\r\n            <p>She was my grandma.<\/p>\r\n            <p>The only professional picture I have of her is that picture below (yes &#8211; that\u2019s her in her twenties). I cherish this portrait as a special treasure. I wish I had more, but that\u2019s all.<\/p>\r\n            <p>She never thought about herself, or about importance to exist in photographs. Did she feel beautiful, loved, seen? I will never know the answer to those questions.<\/p>\r\n            <p>That\u2019s why I want to photograph YOU.
